Meet “Divot” Keseric!

“Divot” Keseric, an eight-year-old English Cocker Spaniel, came to us this summer after being attacked by an angry swarm of wasps. While his owners tried desperately to pull off the wasps and stomp on them, “Divot” simply rolled to his side and closed his eyes. Fearing that he may go into shock, his owners brought him to Boone Animal Hospital. As they entered the parking lot, a hospital associate rushed outside to assist them.  “Divot” was immediately assessed and given an IV and Benadryl. All the while, the techs kept pulling wasps from his fur and swatting them as they threatened to attack the vets!   Throughout the chaos, the staff calmly administered treatment and brought “Divot” safely through his medical crisis.  Happily after completing five days of Benadryl, Divot is back to wagging his chubby behind (brought on by an existing thyroid condition) and furry tail, as well as his favorite activity—sleeping!
